ARA ART, as the historically first organizer of the international Roma LGBT+ conference that resulted in the Prague declaration (2015) and as the initiator of the first Roma LGBT+ platform, that has been dealing with this problem from the very start.
The platform wants to reflect the need of mediating and sharing a deeper knowledge of the Roma LGBT+ status in the EU, providing better information and drawing attention to this group of population as well as its supporting structures, the need of strengthening interventions in order to implement direct measures against the Roma LGBT+ discrimination within national policies, the need to create a space for sharing information, experiences and well-established practise.
