The ARA ART theater group remains the only representative of professional Romani theater in the Czech Republic. New theater projects are being processed and regularly developed. From the very beginning, the ARA ART theater group intended to use the potential of authorial theater production to establish and raise the profile of Romani actors and present current and burning topics that are related to the Roma and are almost non-existent in mainstream art.

In 2016, we started the gallery project called Phundrado Vudar - Open Door. For the first two years of its existence, the gallery was part of the evening café Souterrain in Vinohrady. Since 2018 it has been exposed outdoors in various places in Prague and other cities in the Czech Republic.

In recent history, we find days that are very important for our nation, culture, and emancipation. The most important days are: International Roma Day, Roma Resistance Day, Roma Holocaust Memorial Day, International Day of Romani Language.

We have been implementing the Festival of Romani Culture Ara Fest in Pilsen since 2017. Its creation was a reaction to the absence of Romani culture, where a massive society of people of Romani origin lives. The festival always takes place at the beginning of the summer holidays and is spread over three days. We want to provide visitors who are not only Roma the most profound insight into different parts of the world of contemporary Romani culture.
