QRTV.EU

QRTV.EU is one of the other non-profit organizations working in the Romani LGBTQ+ world. It uses its platform to educate, help people and spread its ideas. They write about female artists who are starting their careers, interview transgender Roma people or talk about other NGOs who are striving for the same thing as them. You can read about their mission below or you can visit their website: http://qrtv.eu/en/

QRTV Europa is an entertainment, cultural, lifestyle and music channel. Its mission is to bring different European communities together and to help European human rights movements. They also help activists/women and NGOs to create more inclusive societies and a fairer and more equal future. QRTV is a television channel with a queer Roma identity.

Why QR?

"QR is our acronym for Queer. Our content is typically engaging with queer people and their culture, which is less represented in mainstream media. At the same time, we strongly believe that everyone can find useful, entertaining and informative content on QRTV."

The acronym QR also stands for a multi marginalised group in Europe, Queer Roma, generally speaking Roma LGBTQ+ people, which we, the initiators, belong to or are connected to in some way.

"Our main goal is to make members of this community more visible, to bring Roma and LGBTQ+ people closer to each other, to showcase the workings of these groups and to help them and other groups facing similar challenges develop freer more balanced and diverse identities and cultural backgrounds that support a better future.

QR also refers to a QR code that will later become a major contributor in accessing other content related to our programs.

We produce our own content related to physical and mental health as well as vegetarian and vegan lifestyles. We consider it important to foster environmental awareness, which is why QRTV's server runs on 100% carbon-free renewable energy.

We respect religion, worldviews, inclusive religious groups based on universal love and sisterhood/brotherhood. We consider feminist and trans feminist movements to be one of our main allies.

We are openly seeking applications from organizations, bloggers, activists and content creators who would like to contribute to any of these goals and who would further expand the range of QRTV's programming."
